Performance Improvement

How do you react when work is not done according to your wishes?

How do you deal with constant failure to achieve goals?

Do you want to improve a certain employee's productivity but do not know how?

Performance improvement is a process for leaders in the form of a tool designed for achieving set goals in terms of work efficiency. The aim of the process is developing and maintaining high productivity within the company and identifying individuals who are not achieving wanted and expected results. The program has several phases, all of which require close cooperation of the leader with the identified employee.

The process includes the following steps:

  • Identification – Evaluating employees with the help of existing or newly defined criteria, and identifying the individuals who are less efficient in achieving goals.
  • Communication – Focusing on efficient communication between the leader and the identified employee and training the leader to conduct the whole process.
  • Plan for performance improvement – The leader and the employee create an individual plan together. The leader is qualified to lead such a dialogue and takes notes of what is agreed upon on a prepared form. The employee takes responsibility to carry out the plan.
  • Progress evaluation – After a certain time the leader and the employee meet again to see how the plan is being carried out and evaluate the progress.
  • Final phase – The last step is focused on evaluating progress and estimating to what extent the activities have been realized. If progress is smaller than expected, further steps are decided upon.

We play the role of consultants defining necessary steps for successful results with the help of the company's HR department. Above all we focus on defining the process, preparing the form that is specific and consistent with the company's needs and training the leaders to apply the process in a fair and professional manner.
